Since moving from Japan to the UK, Megumi Mesaku (Miss Megoo), has played her saxophone with some of the most distinctive and original Ska and Reggae musicians still alive today, playing with bands such as The Trojans, Top Cats, The Skatalites and Ska Cubano. After returning from a tour of Japan, Megumi decided she wanted to bring all of these great musicians together to sing a number of songs, including “What a Wonderful World”, a favourite to many of them. I made a short documentary showing Megumi with Derrik Morgan, Dennis Al Capone, Rico Rodriguez, David Serame and many others, as they are brought together to create a unique recording at the Fish Factory Studio in London.

Here’s a little gem of a video with all those amazing artists.
